Location: International Institute for Molecular and Cell Biology (IIMCB), Warsaw
Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Medicine, or equivalent fields. Candidates with degrees in Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics are also considered if they have relevant experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- High motivation and proactive and collaborative attitude.
- Previous experience in relevant methods such as working with mice, sequencing libraries generation, cell culture, microbiology, bioinformatics, and data science.
Job Description:
As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will be responsible for multi-omic analysis of fibrotic processes in the host, particularly focusing on liver stellate cells and the impact of the microbiota. The role entails conducting research related to liver fibrosis and the microbiome, including a range of responsibilities such as sequencing libraries generation, cell culture, microbiology, and bioinformatics.
