Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related fields.
- Advanced experience with aberration corrected Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Electron Energy Loss Spectroscopy (EELS), and Cathodoluminescence (CL).
- Hands-on experience with light injection or collection in TEM.
- Strong interest in noble nanoparticles and chiroptical response.
Job Description
- Characterize optical responses at the single particle level in TEM and utilize EELS and CL techniques.
- Develop innovative methodologies to probe the chiroptical response in TEM.
- Conduct 3D structural characterization of chiral nanoparticles using electron tomography and SEEBIC.
- Collaborate with international partners at CIC Biomagune, University of Vigo, and University of Michigan.
- Publish research findings and present at national and international conferences.
- Complete requirements of the doctoral school at the University of Antwerp.
