Postdoctoral Position in Computational Genomics : The Animal Genomics group within the Institute of Agricultural Sciences at ETH Zurich is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position in Computational Genomics / Animal Genomics. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team working on cutting-edge research projects related to (epi-)genomes and transcriptomes of animals. This is a full-time position with an anticipated start date of March 1st, 2024, and a fixed-term duration. The researcher will contribute to ongoing projects, support doctoral students, and develop and implement their research ideas within the Animal Genomics group.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD (or close to completion) in disciplines related to Computational Genomics, Animal Genomics, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or Statistical Genomics.
- Strong research interest in the mentioned areas.
- Experience with a programming/scripting language (e.g., Python) and working in a high-performance computing environment.
- Experience with workflow managers such as Snakemake is desired.
- Affinity to computational genomics, bioinformatics, and statistics.
- Excellent knowledge of English for scientific writing and participation in international conferences.
