Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Materials Science, or related fields
- Experience in designing, developing, and characterizing polymeric and biodegradable drug delivery systems
- Knowledge of chemical synthesis, formulation development, and biodegradable polymers
- Prior experience with gastrointestinal drug delivery and preclinical animal models is preferred but not required
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a research team
Job Description
The selected candidate will contribute to research aimed at developing innovative drug delivery strategies for preventing gastrointestinal fibrosis. Responsibilities include:
- Designing and characterizing biodegradable drug delivery systems
- Conducting chemical synthesis and formulation development
- Performing preclinical studies, including in vitro and in vivo evaluations
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of researchers and clinicians
