Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Documented experience with deep learning techniques (CNNs, Transformers).
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch).
  • Experience in working with time-series data.
  • Good understanding of the Internet of Things and wireless communication networks.
  • Strong publication record relative to career stage.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with explainable AI methods.
  • Experience in collaborative, cross-cultural research environments.

Job Description:

  • Conduct research related to semantic representation and reasoning on time-series data.
  • Design and implement Edge AI for real-time analytics and decision-making.
  • Create energy-efficient, low-latency communication strategies.
  • Publish high-impact research and contribute to outreach and dissemination activities.
  • Participate in the NUEI (Nordic University Collaboration on Edge Intelligence) project seminars.
  • Co-supervise bachelorโ€™s and masterโ€™s thesis projects.
