Eligibility/Qualification: Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a degree in Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Possess a working knowledge of techniques such as polymer synthesis, functionalization, polymer characterization, materials development, experimental organic chemistry, flexible electronics, health monitoring, and wearables.
  • Demonstrate an interest in developing polymer-based sensors and actuators.
  • Exhibit research independence and possess strong skills in writing and communication.
  • Enjoy troubleshooting, creative problem-solving, and working collaboratively in a team.

Job Description: The postdoctoral associate will be actively involved in research projects focused on the development of sustainable materials for wearable, flexible electronics. They will have the opportunity to leverage their expertise in areas such as materials development, polymer synthesis, organic chemistry, polymer characterization, photolithography, and flexible electronics. Collaboration with industry and university research groups will be an integral part of this interdisciplinary role. The position offers a flexible start date for a 1-year contract, with potential for renewal based on performance.
