Job Description: The successful candidate will work on the GOLD project aimed at optimizing cancer treatments by radiotherapy using Hybridosomes® nanocapsules. Specifically, the candidate will synthesize, formulate, and characterize hybrid nanocapsules of different compositions in gold and iron oxides. They will also evaluate the biodistribution and activity of the nanocapsules in vitro and in vivo, in collaboration with biologist colleagues. The candidate will have a strong knowledge of physicochemistry and the ability to master different analysis and characterization techniques such as electron microscopy, light scattering, and HPLC. A good knowledge of polymers (synthesis, functionalization) would be highly appreciated. The candidate will have a strong interest in working at the physics-chemistry-biology interface and in biomedical applications. Training in cell culture and animal experimentation techniques is a plus.

How to Apply: Interested candidates should send their application (covering letter + CV + letters of recommendation with contact details of 2 referees) to soizic.chevance@univ-rennes.fr before 2023/06/01.
