The project focuses on the synthesis and development of advanced perovskite materials for use in innovative image sensor technology.

Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or Engineering
  • Strong publication record
  • Solid experimental background in materials science and chemistry
  • Basic knowledge of electronics
  • Mandatory experience in photodetectors, thin-film deposition, and microfabrication methods
  • Strong background in experimental hardware and programming
  • Excellent communication skills (fluent in English)

Job Description

The selected candidate will engage in the following activities:

  • Synthesis and deposition of perovskite thin films (thermal co-evaporation)
  • Fabrication of charge-selective layers and transparent conductive oxide electrodes
  • Development of perovskite-specific integration and patterning methods (adapted photolithography, dry/wet etching)
  • Comprehensive optoelectronic characterization of fabricated devices
  • Collaboration with industrial partners
  • Supervision of PhD students involved in the project
