Job Description

As a postdoctoral researcher, you will be involved in:

  • Synthesizing and characterizing novel nanoparticles using both liquid- and gas-phase synthesis methods.
  • Identifying optimal synthesis conditions and selecting appropriate surface functionalization methods for integration into polymer matrices.
  • Characterizing nanoparticles using various spectroscopic and surface characterization techniques.
  • Performing structure-property correlations to understand the physical and chemical characteristics that influence the functional properties of the magnetic nanoparticles.
  • Regularly reporting and presenting progress to research partners and stakeholders.
  • Actively participating in the research activities of the Functional Materials group.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct innovative research while working independently and collaboratively in an interdisciplinary environment.
  • Engage with the broader research community and contribute to the project at various stages.
