Eligibility/Qualification:

  • A PhD degree or a foreign degree equivalent in chemistry or a relevant field, obtained by the employment decision deadline.
  • Candidates with a PhD obtained within three years before the application deadline will be prioritized.
  • Knowledge and practical experience in electrochemistry and battery characterization.
  • Proficiency in oral and written English.

Job Description:

The primary duty of the postdoctoral researcher will be to conduct research in developing electrolyte formulations based on functional additives to enhance the performance of Li-ion batteries. Responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing existing electrolyte systems and data.
  • Optimizing formulations and preparing/prototyping battery cells.
  • Conducting studies on electrolytes’ effects on battery performance through electrochemical and spectroscopic methods.
  • Collaborating with both academic and industrial partners, domestically and internationally.
