Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD degree or a foreign equivalent in Chemistry, Physics, or Materials Science.
  • Degree must be obtained by the time of the employment decision.
  • Applicants who have obtained their PhD degree within three years before the application deadline are primarily considered, with possible extensions for special circumstances (e.g., sick leave, parental leave).

Job Description

The main focus of the project is to investigate the development of stable electrode-electrolyte interfaces aimed at enabling safer battery materials. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting experimental research in the development of polymer-based artificial solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) layers.
  • Utilizing various electrochemical techniques (e.g., galvanostatic cycling, cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy).
  • Applying characterization methods (e.g., X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, infrared spectroscopy).
  • Collaboration with colleagues at the Ångström Advanced Battery Centre.
  • Disseminating research findings through high-impact peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
