Eligibility / Qualification

Mandatory Requirements:

  • PhD (or equivalent foreign degree) in:
    • Polymer Chemistry
    • Materials Science
    • Organic Synthesis
    • Chemistry or closely related fields
  • Degree must be awarded before the employment decision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Hands-on experience in:
    • Polymer synthesis
    • Battery material synthesis
    • Coin-cell and pouch-cell fabrication
  • Familiarity with teaching and supervision activities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD obtained within the last three years
  • Experience in:
    • Binder development for batteries
    • Lithium-ion and zinc-ion battery systems
    • Silicon anodes
    • Dry electrode coating and solvent-free manufacturing

Job Description

The postdoctoral researcher will:

  • Conduct independent and collaborative experimental research
  • Develop new binder systems for battery electrode processing
  • Design and optimize electrode manufacturing processes

  • Supervise Masterโ€™s and PhD students to a certain extent
