Job Description
The postdoctoral fellow will engage in both in vitro and in vivo experimentation at the intersection of immunology and cell biology. The research aims to examine how epithelial cell-derived proteins may mitigate the risk of acute lung injury and reduce the burden of end-stage lung disease. The work involves utilizing advanced technical modalities, such as:
- Conditional knockout mouse models
- Primary epithelial cell lines
- Flow cytometry
- ELISA
- Molecular biology (protein and DNA-based)
- Biochemistry and cell/tissue culture
- Fluorescence and confocal microscopy
- DNA/RNA sequencing
