Postdoctoral position in medicinal chemistry: A postdoctoral position in the senior research group Drug Design and Medicinal Chemistry headed by Dr. Radim Nencka is available for a highly motivated and creative scientist with expertise in organic and medicinal chemistry to participate in the project New Technologies for Translational Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences / NETPHARM, project ID CZ.02.01.01/00/22_008/0004607, which is co-funded by the European Union.

RESEARCH AREA:

LOCATION:

ELIGIBILITY/QUALIFICATION:
- Ph.D. degree in Organic, Medicinal Chemistry, or a related field
- Excellent expertise in organic synthesis and retrosynthetic analysis
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English (proficiency equivalent to a standardized test such as TOEFL or IELTS)
- Laboratory experience in organic synthesis
- Prior experience with biochemical assays such as fluorescence anisotropy and surface plasmon resonance is advantageous
- Experience in programming, working with Linux, and familiarity with CADD techniques would be considered advantageous
