Postdoctoral Position in Memory and Perception, Paris, France

CEMEF Postdoctoral Fellowship in France- Apply by 31 October 2020

Postdoctoral Position in Memory and Perception: The Neuronal Circuits for Memory and Perception – PARDI lab at the Institute of Psychiatry and Neuroscience of Paris (IPNP) is seeking a motivated and talented scientist to join their team as a funded postdoctoral researcher. The lab focuses on understanding how brain circuits utilize internal information to transform sensations into perceptual representations and investigates how this process is altered in psychiatric disorders. The successful candidate will explore the function of auditory thalamo-cortical loops in these processes using a combination of mouse behavior, in vivo 2-photon calcium imaging, in vitro electrophysiology, and optogenetics. The position is expected to start in mid-2023.
