✅ Eligibility / Qualifications

Applicants must:

  • Hold a Ph.D. in:
    • Materials Science & Engineering
    • Metallurgy
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Applied Physics
    • Or closely related disciplines
      (Degree must be completed before appointment)
  • Demonstrate:
    • Strong research capability
    • A solid publication record
    • Hands-on experimental skills and/or relevant modeling experience

🛠 Job Description

The selected candidate will:

  • Conduct research on advanced processing of metallic materials using modern fabrication techniques such as:
    • Powder metallurgy
    • Additive manufacturing
  • Design and produce metals and alloys with:
    • Engineered microstructures
    • Enhanced mechanical and functional properties
  • Perform comprehensive material characterization including:
    • Mechanical property evaluation
    • Microstructural analysis
    • Assessment of microstructural stability under thermal and/or mechanical loading
    • Multi-scale testing under coupled environmental or extreme conditions
  • Contribute to:
    • Experimental design
    • Data analysis
    • High-impact journal publications
    • Research proposal development
