- Strong modeling skills with hands-on experience in integrated assessment research.
- Proven interest in policy-oriented energy and climate change research.
- Demonstrated interdisciplinary work experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong support and/or management skills.
Job Description:
As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will:
- Conduct scenario analysis using the TIAM-ECN model to investigate centralization levels of hydrogen production.
- Collaborate with researchers from various faculties within UvA and other institutions.
- Engage in technology-rich energy systems modeling to provide insight into hydrogen’s role in reducing CO₂ emissions.
- Analyze interventions that can accelerate the energy transition with a keen focus on hydrogen deployment.
- Present findings at workshops and conferences and publish results in academic journals.
