Postdoctoral Position in Molecular Biology and Genetics: The Institute for Integrative Biology of the Cell (12BC) has an immediate opening for a motivated postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Cell Biology. The position is a fixed-term contract of 2 years, starting from April 1st, with remuneration according to the current grid. Scholarship Description: The successful candidate will work in a vibrant international research environment and have access to state-of-the-art facilities provided by the Institute for Integrative Biology of the Cell (12BC) located in Gif-sur-Yvette, south of Paris. The candidate will join the newly established ATIP-Avenir research group led by Ambre Sala in the Department of Cell Biology. The research will focus on dissecting the role of molecular chaperones in different tissues of adult C. elegans, using a combination of genetics and biochemical approaches. The candidate will be responsible for developing tools to identify protein-protein interactions with mass spectrometry methods.

Eligibility: The applicant should hold a Ph.D. in molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, or a related field. The applicant should have the ability to independently conduct a research project and supervise students. Strong communication and organizational skills are required. Prior experience with the C. elegans model system or proteomics would be an added advantage.
