Postdoctoral Position in Molecular Immunology and Innate Immunity

Research Area: Molecular Immunology and Innate Immunity
Location: University of Lausanne, Epalinges, Switzerland
Eligibility/Qualification:
- M.D. and/or Ph.D. degree in immunology, molecular biology, or related field
- Strong background in immunology, inflammasome signaling, or host-pathogen interactions
- Experience with organoid model systems or transgenic animal models preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment
Job Description:
- Conduct research on inflammasome-dependent host defenses against bacterial and viral pathogens using intestinal organoid and/or in vivo models
- Design and perform experiments, analyze data, and interpret results
- Collaborate with members of the research team and participate in lab meetings and scientific discussions
- Prepare manuscripts for publication and present research findings at conferences
- Contribute to the training and supervision of graduate and undergraduate students
