Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD or equivalent degree in immunology, virology, vaccination, or a related field (degree must be obtained by the application deadline).
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge in immunological methods.
- Excellent skills in written and spoken English.
- Doctoral degree obtained within the last three years preferred; those with earlier degrees may be considered under special circumstances (e.g., research excellence, parental leave, etc.).
- Desirable: Experience in immune repertoire sequencing (VDJ), RNA sequencing, flow cytometry, and immunoglobulin mass spectrometry.
Job Description
As a postdoctoral researcher, you will be an integral member of a dynamic research team dedicated to exploring:
- Humoral immunity development and maintenance in mucosal tissues and blood during respiratory viral and bacterial infections.
- Mapping mechanisms leading to long-lasting antibody-based immunity, focusing on IgA.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting laboratory-based research and functional analyses of B cell and antibody responses.
- Collaborating with partners in extensive data analysis and project management.
- Opportunities for gaining teaching experience in immunology and hematology.
