Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Genetics, Genomics, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in neurodevelopment and neurogenomics.
- Preferred experience in genetics/genomics, molecular and cell biology.
- Computational skills in Python and/or R are desirable.
- English proficiency is required; knowledge of French is not mandatory.
Job Description:
- Conduct research on cell lineages in the human central nervous system, focusing on post-mortem human tissue.
- Apply histology, imaging, flow cytometry, and advanced bulk and single-cell sequencing methods.
- Generate and analyze substantial amounts of sequencing data (DNA and RNA).
- Collaborate with a computational biologist and utilize bioinformatics/data analysis facilities.
- Contribute to the understanding of somatic mosaic mutations and their role in neurodevelopment.
