Postdoctoral Position in NMR Methodology Development for Complex Reactions

  • Designation: Postdoctoral Researcher
  • Research Area: Development of NMR methodology for reaction monitoring in polymer chemistry and other chemical processes.
  • Location: Institute of Physical Chemistry PAS, Warsaw, Poland
  • Eligibility/Qualification: PhD degree in chemical, physical, or related sciences, obtained within 7 years before 1 January 2024. Strong research background, proficiency in English, and experience in NMR methodology, automated synthesis, polymer chemistry, programming (preferably Python or Matlab), or machine learning.
  • Job Description:
  • Independently design, plan, and conduct experiments using a newly developed automated synthesis setup with a benchtop NMR spectrometer.
  • Perform reactions to test and demonstrate the new setup, including software development for data control and analysis.
  • Disseminate research findings at project meetings, in peer-reviewed journals, and international conferences.
