Postdoctoral Position in Photo-electrochemical: The Faculty of Natural Sciences, Mathematics & Informatics at the University of Amsterdam is inviting applications for a postdoctoral position in the field of photo-electrochemical small molecule conversion. The position is fully funded for 7 months, starting as soon as possible and no later than January 1, 2024. The project is supported by the NWO-XS program.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Recent Ph.D. degree in (supramolecular) catalysis, with a focus on photo- or electrochemical small molecule conversion.
- Knowledge in the synthesis of organic conducting polymers and/or experience with (photo-)electrochemical characterization will be advantageous.
Job Description:
Postdoctoral Position in Photo-electrochemical Small Molecule Conversion
- Develop novel gas-diffusion photoelectrodes.
- Integrate molecular CO2 reduction catalysts.
- Use (spectro-)electrochemical techniques to characterize materials.
- Test the performance of developed materials.
- Supervise Ph.D. students in the team.
- Report results and communicate them via peer-reviewed publications and conferences.
