Postdoctoral Position in Plant Cell Wall Biology: The Plant Science Research Laboratory (Laboratoire de Recherche en Sciences Vegetales, LRSV) in Toulouse, France, is offering a three-year postdoctoral position in the field of plant cell wall biology. Eligibility/Qualification:Ph.D. in a relevant field (0-2 years post-PhD defense), strong background in plant molecular and cell biology, proficiency in English, experience in plant cell wall biology and immunohistochemistry will be positively assessed.
Job Description:The postdoctoral researcher will work on the EXTRANET project, investigating the roles of EXT proteins in plant cell growth using Arabidopsis thaliana tip-growing cells as models. The research involves a combination of biochemistry, cell biology, and genetics. The candidate should be curious, proactive, and open to collaboration. Training in necessary techniques will be provided, and support will be given for academic activities such as conference attendance, grant writing, manuscript preparation, and student supervision.
