Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in (plant) molecular biology with a maximum of 2 years of postdoc experience.
  • Expertise in molecular biology and/or plant biotechnology.
  • Previous guidance of (master) students and/or technicians.
  • Excellent English communication skills.

Job Description:

Postdoctoral Position in Agrobacterium-Plant Interactomics

  • Study novel interactions between Agrobacterium effectors and plant proteins using advanced proteomics techniques.
  • Functionally characterize plant host proteins in Zea mays and Arabidopsis thaliana.
  • Investigate the importance of effectors and host proteins in infection.
  • Collaborate on a project with KU Leuven, contributing to biotechnological applications.
