Postdoctoral Position in Polymer Chemistry: Prof. Suong “Su” Nguyen from the Laboratory of Synthetic Polymer Chemistry (LCPS) at the Institute of Chemical Sciences and Engineering (ISIC), EPFL, Switzerland, is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher. Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or Materials Science
  • Enthusiasm, self-motivation, creativity, and team spirit
  • Extensive knowledge and research experience in synthetic organic chemistry and/or polymer chemistry
  • Experience with polymer characterization is a plus, but not required
  • Good communication skills in English (verbal and written)
  • Having external funding is a plus, but not required

Job Description:
The successful candidate will join Prof. Nguyen’s research group to develop innovative strategies for polymer synthesis and characterization. The position involves:

  • Conducting cutting-edge research in synthetic organic chemistry, catalysis, photo/electrochemistry, and polymer chemistry
  • Collaborating with world-leading research groups at EPFL and beyond
  • Utilizing state-of-the-art lab equipment and facilities
