Eligibility/Qualification
- Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Chemistry, or a related field
- Strong interest and experience in experimental approaches to studying protein entropy
- Desire to expand expertise in bioinformatic analysis
- Desirable: Experience in structural biology (electron microscopy or X-ray crystallography)
Job Description
- Conduct cutting-edge research on the role of protein conformational entropy in binding and catalysis
- Develop and optimize experimental techniques to probe protein entropy
- Perform bioinformatic analyses to understand the impact of conformational entropy on protein function
- Collaborate with the Principal Investigator and other lab members to design and execute research projects
- Prepare research articles for publication in peer-reviewed journals
- Present research findings at scientific conferences
