Eligibility/Qualification

  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree in Chemistry or Physics, specializing in electrocatalysis.
  • Demonstrated experimental experience in electrochemistry and electrocatalysis.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Personal skills: cooperative, communicative, attentive, self-motivated, and open-minded.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree obtained within the last three years.
  • Experience in electrochemical surface characterization and electrodeposition methods.
  • Familiarity with electron microscopy and diffraction methods.

Job Description

The postdoctoral position will focus on:

  • Investigating the effects of different solvents on particle shape during pulsed electrodeposition.
  • Conducting electrochemical characterization to study prepared surfaces.
  • Evaluating deposited particles in electrocatalytic reactions, particularly converting biomass-derived feedstocks into valuable chemicals.
