Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Genetics, Genomics, Molecular Biology, Computational Biology, or a related field.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas: genetics, genomics, computational biology, molecular biology, microscopy.
- Male applicants must have completed their military service in Mexico to qualify for employment.
- Strong communication skills in English.
Job Description:
- Conduct independent research in the field of embryo and endosperm development.
- Collaborate with laboratory members to design and execute experiments using a variety of techniques.
- Participate in mentoring activities and contribute to the training of junior lab members.
- Present research findings at international conferences and meetings.
- Prepare manuscripts for publication in scientific journals.
- After the first year, postdoctoral researchers will be encouraged to pursue additional funding opportunities from CONAHCyT.
