Postdoctoral Position in Social Science: The University of Konstanz, a distinguished University of Excellence in Germany, is offering a Postdoctoral Position in Computational Social Science. This position is part of the “Transparency in Content Moderation” project, focusing on studying transparency efforts in content moderation by social media companies. The project is funded by a Max Planck/Alexander von Humboldt Research Award to Professor Margaret Roberts, with collaboration from Professors Yannis Theocharis and Nils B. Weidmann.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Political Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required.
- Strong research background in digital politics.
- Solid training in programming (Python) and statistics (R).
- Experience with secure and efficient storage of large datasets.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
Job Description:
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Developing a new data collection on content moderation policies.
- Scraping social media data.
- Designing, analyzing, and presenting research project and results.
