Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD in Astronomy or Astrophysics obtained within the last 7 years, with consideration for career breaks (e.g., maternity/paternity leave).
- Strong background in observational, theoretical, or computational stellar or Galactic astrophysics.
- Solid programming skills and knowledge of English.
Job Description
The successful candidate will:
- Engage in the analysis of low-resolution spectra of metal-poor stars.
- Investigate machine learning techniques for stellar spectra analysis.
- Collaborate on tasks related to the 4MOST project.
- Propose new ideas for accurate analysis methods of metal-poor stars.
