Postdoctoral Position in T Cell Tumor: Engage in groundbreaking cancer immunotherapy research with the Lillemeier Laboratory for Molecular Immunology. This full-time postdoctoral position focuses on investigating novel strategies for cancer immunotherapies, specifically targeting T cell activity and function during immune responses. The position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to multidisciplinary research that combines cellular immunology with microscopy, biophysics, and biochemistry.
Designation: Postdoctoral Fellow
Research Area: T Cell Tumor Immunology
Location: Lillemeier Laboratory for Molecular Immunology, Institut für Biologie III/HMH, Universität Freiburg, Habsburgerstr. 49, 79104 Freiburg, Germany
Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in immunology, virology, cell biology, or related field.
- Publication(s) in peer-reviewed journals.
- Expertise in mouse work, preferably with tumor models. A license to work with animals in the EU (e.g., FELASA certificate) is preferred.
- Expertise in multi-parameter flow cytometry. Additional training for spectral flow cytometry will be provided if required.
- Experience with in vitro immunological assays and tissue culture.
- Familiarity with RNA sequencing and/or TCR repertoire analysis will be useful but is not required.
Job Description:
- Investigate the effects of mutant T cell signaling molecules on anti-tumor responses using mouse tumor models in vivo.
- Characterize T cell signaling mutants through ex vivo immunological assays and multidimensional profiling of tumor-infiltrating immune cells.
- Collaborate within a highly interactive and collaborative research environment.
