Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD degree in bioinformatics, molecular biology, statistics, medicine, or a related field.
- Training in statistics, data processing, and/or bioinformatics required.
- Strong collaborative skills and excellent written communication in English; proficiency in Swedish is highly meritorious.
- Prior research experience in neurodegenerative diseases or synapse biology is preferred.
Job Description
As a postdoctoral researcher, you will:
- Analyze existing health records, risk factors, and genetic data.
- Prepare research manuscripts for international peer-reviewed journals.
- Utilize statistical software (R, SPSS, PLINK) to conduct various analyses, including genetic data and epidemiological methods.
- Collaborate with research team members across multiple projects within a supportive research environment.
- Work both independently and under supervision, contributing to the advancement of research on Parkinson’s disease and alpha-synucleinopathies.
