Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD degree in bioinformatics, molecular biology, statistics, medicine, or a related field.
  • Training in statistics, data processing, and/or bioinformatics required.
  • Strong collaborative skills and excellent written communication in English; proficiency in Swedish is highly meritorious.
  • Prior research experience in neurodegenerative diseases or synapse biology is preferred.

Job Description

As a postdoctoral researcher, you will:

  • Analyze existing health records, risk factors, and genetic data.
  • Prepare research manuscripts for international peer-reviewed journals.
  • Utilize statistical software (R, SPSS, PLINK) to conduct various analyses, including genetic data and epidemiological methods.
  • Collaborate with research team members across multiple projects within a supportive research environment.
  • Work both independently and under supervision, contributing to the advancement of research on Parkinson’s disease and alpha-synucleinopathies.
