Eligibility/Qualification
- Completed doctoral degree or equivalent scientific competence.
- Preferably completed a doctoral degree no more than three years prior to the appointment decision.
- Required technical background in thermal spray technologies and related skills.
Job Description
The postdoctoral researcher will:
- Actively contribute to projects related to atmospheric/suspension plasma spray (A/SPS) and high-velocity air-fuel (HVAF) processes.
- Plan experiments and construct design of experiments’ matrices.
- Establish characterization and performance assessment protocols.
- Participate in spraying experiments and characterization of coatings.
- Conduct failure analysis and interpret data.
- Write research manuscripts and guide students in publication efforts.
- Engage in teaching activities, including lectures and lab sessions.
- Explore collaborations to enhance processing and characterization capabilities.
