Research Area:
The research focuses on understanding unconventional T cells, particularly γδ T cells and mucosa-associated invariant T (MAIT) cells, and their contributions to anti-tumor immunity. The goal is to enhance immunotherapy techniques leveraging these immune components.
Eligibility/Qualification:
- A PhD in Immunology or a related field is mandatory.
- Research experience in immunology with a demonstrated ability to plan and execute independent studies.
- Strong background in writing and interpreting scientific literature.
- Flow cytometric analysis experience is a significant advantage.
- Skills in isolating and culturing primary human cells from tissues, as well as in bioinformatic analysis and advanced microscopy, are preferred.
- Organizational skills and a cooperative mindset are essential.
Job Description:
- Conduct independent research focusing on the role of unconventional T cells in tumor immunity.
- Plan, execute, and analyze experiments aimed at elucidating cytotoxic mechanisms.
- Present research findings in scientific journals and at conferences.
- Participate in collective research efforts, including isolating cells from tissue samples.
- Mentor and supervise students.
- Maintain specific pieces of equipment and contribute to internal discussions.
