Eligibility/Qualification:
- Applicants with backgrounds in bioinformatics, metagenomics, viromics, second/third-generation sequencing analysis, or other omics or evolutionary (DNA, RNA, etc.) analysis are welcome.
- Familiarity with command-line and R language coding is preferred, and candidates who can independently write code are prioritized.
- Experimental backgrounds should include experience in microbial molecular ecology, molecular biology, microbial/viral molecular genetic manipulation, and preparation of sequencing libraries.
- Candidates with both computational and experimental backgrounds are preferred.
- Ability to learn and master new knowledge and technologies.
- Strong English reading and writing skills.
Job Description: The selected candidates will conduct research in viromics, focusing on deep-sea hydrothermal ecosystems, coastal wetlands, and freshwater lakes. Responsibilities include data analysis, experimental work, collaboration with other team members, and publishing high-quality research papers.
