Postdoctoral Position – Investigation of Novel Gene Regulatory Interactions in Bacteria

The successful candidate will investigate the molecular and genetic mechanisms underlying the evolution of novel gene regulatory interactions in bacteria. Key responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing genetic screens, molecular biology, and biochemistry techniques.
  • Conducting experimental evolution and multi-omics approaches.
  • Isolating and characterizing novel small protein and RNA regulators.
  • Analyzing the impact of environmental factors on gene regulatory interactions.
  • Contributing to the understanding of bacterial responses to environmental changes.
