Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD degree in materials science, applied physics, physical chemistry, nanotechnology, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experimental skills with advanced laboratory equipment.
  • Experience with vacuum systems and topics like surfaces, interfaces, thin films, hydrogen plasma, magnetron sputtering, or plasma characterization is advantageous.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written.

Job Description:

You will:

  • Develop and optimize a high-flux hydrogen source to enable accelerated material lifetime testing.
  • Work with various hydrogen plasma sources to characterize flux and energy.
  • Conduct analysis to quantify enhancements and demonstrate performance in relevant samples.
  • Engage in hands-on experimental work while collaborating with industrial partners.
