Postdoctoral Researcher

Research Area:
Mobile health and wearables, automated dietary monitoring

Austin, TX (not remote)

Applicants should have a PhD in electrical, computer, or biomedical engineering and/or computer science. Key areas of interest and expertise (ranked by priority) include:

  • Hardware fabrication, PCB design, and assembly
  • Embedded systems and programming
  • Smartphone application development (iOS and/or Android)
  • Conducting human subject experiments
  • Analyzing behavioral signals from wearable sensor data

Candidates should possess good communication skills and experience in leading and publishing research projects. Prior experience collaborating with clinical researchers is a plus.

Job Description:
The position involves building systems and evaluating them in both lab and real-world settings. The successful candidate will work on projects related to automated dietary monitoring using mobile health and wearable technologies.
