Postdoctoral Positions at the Chandar Lab: The Chandar Lab at Mila, the Quebec AI Institute, is inviting applications for multiple open postdoctoral positions. We are looking for talented researchers with expertise in Machine Learning and related fields to join our dynamic team aimed at advancing research in large language models, foundation models for biological data, time series analysis, and astrophysics.

Eligibility / Qualification
- PhD completed or expected in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Large Language Models, or Foundation Models.
- Proven publication record at top international venues (e.g., ICML, ICLR, NeurIPS, ACL, EMNLP, NAACL).
- Interest in mentoring graduate students and leading research projects.
- Experience in initiating new research projects and leading teams.
- Strong experience in pre-training Transformers and LLMs.
Job Description
The selected candidates will lead, publish, and present research projects in their respective areas of interest. They will work collaboratively with graduate students and pharmaceutical partners and participate in grant applications. Duties also include mentoring students and exploring innovative approaches to foundational and large language models.
