Job Description:

Postdoctoral Positions (ERC-CoG “BECAME”) in Organometallic Chemistry and Catalysis

The Postdoctoral Research Associates will be involved in the ERC-CoG BECAME project, which aims to revolutionize catalysis by developing synergistic catalytic processes for the direct conversion of methane and other light hydrocarbons into high-value products through bimetallic catalysis. Key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to the mechanistic understanding and optimization of catalytic processes.
  • Developing new catalytic processes for direct stereoselective alkane functionalization.

Starting Date and Term:

  • Expected starting date: December 2023.
  • Initial term: 2 years, with the possibility of extension.

How to Apply: Interested candidates should submit their applications directly to Prof. Farianas-Mastral at martin.fananas@usc.es with the subject line “BECAME_POSTDOC34.” Applications should include:

  • A brief CV.
  • Contact information for at least two professors or researchers who can provide references.
  • Reference letters will be required for preselected candidates.

Deadline: October 31, 2023
