Eligibility/Qualification
Required Degree & Skills:

Job Description
The research primarily focuses on pantothenate and coenzyme A metabolism as a therapeutic vulnerability in fungal pathogens. The overarching goal is to develop novel compounds that enhance the activity of existing antifungal agents, reverse antifungal resistance, and reduce drug-associated toxicity. These studies build on recent lab publications detailing pantothenate utilization as a druggable pathway in fungal pathogens.
Projects will involve a combination of:
- Fungal genetics and molecular biology
- Chemical biology and metabolism
- Drug screening and mechanism-of-action studies
- In vivo models of fungal infection
Successful candidates will join a highly interactive research environment with excellent opportunities for translational therapeutic development and high-impact publications. Compensation is set per the Yale Office of Postdoctoral Affairs.
