Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD degree in molecular biology, biochemistry (or related) with programming skills or keen interest in learning Python/R.
  • Or, PhD in mathematics, physics, bioinformatics (or related) with an interest in plant cultivation methods.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Python, or high interest to learn it.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Independent, creative, and a team player.

Job Description:

  • Conduct research in Artificial Intelligence and Computational Biology.
  • Teach and potentially perform other duties.
  • Achieve key performance indicators of the research project.
  • Design and implement bioinformatics analyses.
  • Supervise and train research staff and students.
  • Participate in writing research proposals and manuscripts.
  • Regularly communicate research progress.
  • Present data at group meetings and external conferences.
