Postdoctoral Positions at the Centre for Geometry and Physics
Designation: Postdoctoral Researcher
Research Area: The research areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to, algebraic geometry, Gromov-Witten invariants, wall-crossing, symplectic and contact topology, knot theory, supersymmetry, gauge/gravity duality, geometric methods for quantum field theories, generalized and categorical symmetries, integrability, conformal bootstrap methods, and resurgence in quantum fields theories.
Location: Uppsala University, Uppsala, Sweden
Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree in mathematics or theoretical physics or a foreign degree equivalent to a PhD degree in mathematics or in theoretical physics.
- The degree needs to be obtained by the time of the decision of employment.
- Priority will be given to applicants who have completed their degree no more than three years before the deadline for applications.
- Personal circumstances that may be relevant in the evaluation, such as periods of parental leave, should be mentioned in the CV.
Job Description:
The candidates will conduct research in mathematics and/or theoretical physics at the Centre for Geometry and Physics. Responsibilities include collaboration with various members of the centre, as well as producing high-quality research results.
