Postdoctoral Positions in Machine Learning: The Chair for Dynamics, Control, Machine Learning, and Numerics at FAU DCN-AvH, led by Prof. Enrique Zuazua, invites applications for one PhD and two postdoctoral research positions as part of the ERC CoDeFeL project. This project focuses on advancing the mathematical foundations of Machine Learning through control theory, in collaboration with the University of Deusto, Spain.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- For Postdoctoral Researchers:
- PhD in Applied Mathematics or Machine Learning
- Expertise in Control and/or Machine Learning
- Experience with Partial Differential Equations and Numerical Analysis
- Proficiency in Python and MATLAB
- Excellent English communication skills
- For PhD Candidates:
- Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Control, Machine Learning, or related fields
- Basic computational skills
- Ability to work in an international, interdisciplinary team
- Strong English proficiency
Job Description:
- Conduct research relevant to the ERC CoDeFeL project’s goals
- Collaborate with the research team and engage in mentoring activities
- Develop computational codes and contribute to the advancement of the project
- Participate in collaborative work with international and interdisciplinary team members
