Postdoctoral Positions in Organic Chemistry: The research group led by Prof. Giuseppe Sfrazina at the University of Ogilar is excited to announce the availability of two postdoctoral fellowships in the fields of Organic Chemistry and Material Science.

Designation: Postdoctoral Researcher

Research Area:

1. Responsive Organic Semiconductors for Wireless Sensing.
2. Wood-Based Smart Materials for Sustainable Optoelectronics.

Location: University of Cagliari, Canada

Eligibility/Qualification:

For Responsive Organic Semiconductors:

• A doctoral degree in chemistry or materials science.
• Proficiency in organic synthesis and expertise in platinum-based chemistry.
• Experience in spectroscopic techniques and organic electronic devices is advantageous.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is a requirement.

For Wood-Based Smart Materials:

• A doctoral degree in chemistry or materials science.
• Strong background in wood sciences and surface modification.
• Knowledge of spectroscopic techniques and wood chemistry.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential.

Job Description:

Responsive Organic Semiconductors: The successful candidate will be involved in research focused on Responsive Organic Semiconductors for Wireless Sensing. Responsibilities include conducting research in organic synthesis, operating platinum-based chemistry, utilizing spectroscopic techniques, and developing organic electronic devices. Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.

Wood-Based Smart Materials: This position entails research in Wood-Based Smart Materials for Sustainable Optoelectronics. Duties include working on wood sciences, surface modification, spectroscopic techniques, and wood chemistry. Proficiency in spoken and written English is mandatory.
