Postdoctoral Positions – Poison-dart Frog Evo-Devo-Geno
The postdocs will contribute to ongoing research lines, exploring genetic and developmental mechanisms of poison-dart frog evolution. Responsibilities include project collaboration, functional tool development (for at least one position), and flexibility for independent research within the lab’s program. The positions, funded for 3 years, allow pursuing professional development aligned with career goals. The start date is negotiable in Summer or Fall 2024, with an NRSA stipend-level salary plus benefits.
Required Qualifications:
- PhD (or equivalent) in Biological Sciences or a relevant field.
- Research experience in genetics, developmental biology, physiology, or related fields.
Preferred Qualifications (One or More):
- Experience with functional genetics and genetic manipulation in amphibians.
- Experience in evolutionary genetics, evolutionary developmental biology, and morphology.
- Proficiency in molecular biology and/or bioinformatics, especially in nucleic acid sequencing.
