Eligibility/Qualification:
- Recently obtained or soon-to-be awarded Ph.D. (≤3 years post-degree, age ≤35) in Horticulture, Biology, Bioinformatics, or related fields.
- Strong interest in plant biology and horticulture, with a demonstrated ability to lead independent research projects.
- Proven research skills, including at least one first-author publication in a high-quality SCI-indexed journal and fluency in English.
- Preferred expertise in molecular biology, genetics, bioinformatics, or synthetic biology.
Job Description:
- Design and execute research projects under the mentorship of Prof. Lijun Chai.
- Contribute to grant writing and lab management.
- Co-supervise students and collaborate with team members.
- Engage in innovative research aiming to solve challenges like self-incompatibility and parthenocarpy in citrus crops.
