Research Area

The successful candidate will engage in research aimed at discovering and developing small-molecule drugs targeting oncogenic drivers in pediatric cancers.

Eligibility/Qualification

  • Ph.D. in structural biology, biophysics, biochemistry, chemical/molecular biology, or a related discipline.
  • Highly experienced in construct design, cloning, protein expression, purification, and characterization.
  • Strong experience in structural solution via X-ray crystallography and/or cryo-EM, along with biophysical binding assays.

Job Description

The Postdoctoral Research Assistant will collaborate within a multi-disciplinary drug discovery team to:

  • Characterize the binding of small-molecule ligands and degraders to target proteins and E3 ligases.
  • Utilize structural biology techniques (e.g., X-ray crystallography, cryo-EM) and biophysical methods (FP, TR-FRET, ITC, SPR).
  • Enlighten the structure- and biophysics-guided design of novel degraders targeting specified oncogenes related to pediatric cancers.
  • Work closely with the Senior Lead Scientist and other team members in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with studying PROTACs, molecular glue degraders, and structure-based drug design.
  • Proficiency in biophysical techniques and assays for studying protein interactions.
