Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD in microbiology or a related discipline (or close to completion).
- Extensive experience in bacterial culturing, particularly anaerobic cultures, and mouse microbiome studies.
- Proven track record of publications in relevant areas.
Job Description
The post-holder will be responsible for:
- Managing their own academic research and administrative activities.
- Conducting experimental work with anaerobic gut bacteria and human gut bacterial pathogens.
- Applying both in-vitro and in-vivo germ-free methods.
- Providing guidance to less experienced researchers in the group.
